About

6 Goals to complete each week:
  1. Six miles run
  2. Six short work outs
  3. Six thousand words written
  4. Six chapters of the bible read
  5. Six water bottles consumed a day
  6. Six sketches drawn in my sketch book

Busy people get more done. I want to get a lot of stuff done. I'm going to make myself busy and podcast about it. I also want to get back in shape. I miss feeling good and having energy. This will be a weekly podcast that drops every Monday. I'll talk about my six goals and if I've had any success achieving them. I have found in listening to podcasts that when I hear people talking about what they’ve achieved that week it motivates me. I hope to motivate myself with these goals, and you as well.

Why 6?

God created the heavens and the earth in six days, then rested on the seventh; we should rest too. If you don't give yourself downtime you'll get less done. Burn out is like getting a ticket because you were speeding to get somewhere on time. You'll be even later waiting for the officer to write you up. Also, for many of these goals, I've made them out to be very achievable. In high school I used to run over 40 miles a week; but I'm not in high school anymore with team mates to keep me accountable. I'm just a fat computer nerd who's really out of shape. So yeah, six miles a week is not much, but I can do it and that’s better than zero miles a week, or zero words written a week – you get the idea.

If you have any comments, I would love to read  them! If you leave a comment, I’ll be sure to read it and talk about it on the podcast. Thanks for stopping by!
